Shidishui Softcapsule(SDSSC)is a new Chinese medicinal preparation contrived by renovating the tradi-tional Shidishui tincture (SDST). Pharmacodynamic study indicated that both SDSSC and SDST had signifi-cant analgesic effects and could significantly inhibit gastrointestinal motility in mice,per os;could decrease the death rate of mice experienced high temperature(45℃)for 35 minutes;and could increase Vc content of a-drenal gland in rat experienced high temperature(45℃)for 30 minutes.
